Product Description
The use of Axis Chemical indicators is part of an effective quality assurance program. It is used to identify possible sterilization errors that may result from incorrect packaging, incorrect loading of the sterilizer, or malfunctions of the sterilizer. Chemical test results are not accepted as an indicator of microbiological sterility, they are accepted as an exposure indicator of the parameters sought in the sterilization process.
Chemical indicators provide rapid color change when the given parameter is reached.
A chemical indicator should be used in each sterilization package to control whether the steam penetrates the packaged material and reaches the instruments inside.
