Routine checks using a PCD are not only required in DIN EN ISO 17665-1 but are also recommended by the Robert Koch Institute to allow statements on air removal, steam quality, and hollow load process challenges to be made. BDpro air removal test can be used as an alternative to the conventional Bowie & Dick test. LCpro is a load control test for process monitoring of steam sterilisers with air removal via pulsed flow pre-vacuum stages.
