Manufactured by MERCATE compagny, evO2 is effective on the SARS-CoV-2 virus thanks to its FlickLyse®️ technology. FlickLyse®️ technology has been tested on different types of viruses, including highly pathogenic Influenza A H1N1 and H3N2 viruses as well as Adenovirus. FlickLyse®️ has shown an elimination efficiency on these virus of 99%. Influenza viruses are very close to the SARS-CoV-2 virus, in terms of morphology and genome, in addition, adenovirus, is a particularly resistant virus and therefore very difficult to inactivate.
In view of the excellent inactivation performance of evO2, we can expect the same level of efficiency of 99% on the SARS-CoV-2 virus, responsible for the COVID-19 disease.
