Product Description
ChipGenie® edition E2 is an extremely compact electrophoresis system that allows the label-free detection of small ions thanks to its capacitively coupled contactless conductivity detection (C4D) scheme. The extremely rugged instrument with the size of a cigar box contains a bipolar high-voltage supply for the separation of both anions and cations and a high-frequency detection circuit. It is controlled through an easy-to-use software program and is powered through its USB port. The instrument is complemented by a variety of chips ideally suited for the system. Applications include the analysis of foodstuffs, water, or other sources of small ions as well as larger molecules from biological samples.
