Saliva and swab samples

The SalivaGene Collector simplifies saliva collection by using a lyophilized stabilization buffer, which supersedes cooling of samples and stabilizes genomic DNA for 12 months at room temperature.
The SalivaGene Swab Comfort is designed to collect and stabilize DNA from human oral samples. The DNA of swab samples is stable for at least 6 months at room temperature in the stabilization buffer. After sample collection the swab tip is broken at the red breaking point into the tube. During sealing the swab tip is screwed into the lid and can be easily removed.
Blood samples
Fresh or frozen whole blood treated with EDTA or citrate can be used
Manual or fully automated DNA extraction from up to 2 ml of blood samples
Pure genomic DNA for enhanced performance in sensitive downstream applications
