Product Description
The MEDpro Malecot Catheter set is used for percutaneous placement of a Malecot Catheter in the renal pelvis for nephrostomy drainage.
MEDpro’s Malecot Catheters sets are supplied in sterile peel-open packaging and are intended for one time use only.
Intended purpose: The Malecot Catheter is intended to facilitate nephrostomy drainage surgically in urology procedures.
The catheters are made of Polyurethane and are blue in color. The scalpel and needle are manufactured from Stainless Steel. Guide wires are made of PTFE Evergreen coated Stainless Steel. The urine bag connector is made of PVC. Fascial dilators are made of Grey PeBax®.
