VENTILATION AND AIR CONDITIONING

The function of ventilation and air conditioning systems is to guarantee the sanitary and hygienic conditions required for air-conditioned medical modules, namely:

- ensuring adequate ventilation of rooms that may contain concentrations of anesthetic gases and / or other pollutants, including in case of emergency emissions;

- ensuring correct temperature and humidity conditions for the patient and staff;

- to ensure the necessary concentration of aerosol air particles below the level established for the premises, by carefully filtering the clean air supplied to the premises and removing polluted air from it;

- maintain a stable and measurable excess pressure, organized in such a way that the air is directed from cleaner to less clean rooms (the minimum pressure difference in adjacent rooms should be at least 15 Pa).

The design of ventilation and air conditioning systems provides the possibility of carrying out routine maintenance and preventive measures. In particular, the systems meet the following requirements:
