A progressive hematoxylin that produces crisp, well delineated nuclear chromatin while eliminating background staining. It produces sharper, more consistent staining which exceeds Gill’s and Harris Hematoxylins. Will not form a surface sheen or require daily filtering. Also available: SHURStain Hematoxylin Plus - a more potent version that produces many of the same staining characteristics with more intensity, and SHURStain Hematoxylin GDH1 & GHD2 - designed to take the place of Gill's 1 and Gill's 2.
