Self-compressing holes for standard 3.5 mm self-tapping cortical screws. Standard screws keep the plate attached to the ileum and ensure effective rotation.
Threaded holes for locking screws, allowing a screw angle of 6°. The screws stabilize the fixation because, being anchored to the plate and having a gap between them, they offer the necessary resistance to counteract the opposing traction forces exerted by the elastic memory of the ileum subjected to torsion.
