Training Simulator

MamaBreast is a wearable water-filled simulator that supports health workers and mothers practicing breastfeeding and correct breast milk expression. Together with the Helping Babies Survive (HBS) training program, MamaBreast promotes effective breastfeeding for mothers and teaches respectful maternity care for midwives.

Supporting mothers

Help mothers to enable newborns to latch on to the breast. Practice manual breast expression with the realistic anatomy of MamaBreast: water, representing milk, will flow out of the nipple when the correct manual technique is applied.

MamaBreast is simple yet highly realistic which promotes better training in proper breastfeeding positioning, and latching. It can be used to guide mothers during antenatal care as well as after the birth.
