Product Description
The CLM system was originally developed over a two year period with leading universities prior to production. This system is an excellent alternative to an FHO for luxated hips. The system includes a femoral head aiming guide, solid implant grade toggle rods, a toggle rod inserter and a femoral head suture passer. The SECUROS toggle rods are made of the highest-grade implant stainless steel and have been tested and shown to be mechanically superior to the k-wire alternative. The toggle rods are available in 3 sizes. The aiming guide simplifies the aiming and drilling of the hole that passes through the femoral head by allowing the surgeon to apply the device and accurately drill the hole from the lateral aspect of the femoral head. The toggle rod inserter is used to place the toggle rod behind the medial wall of the acetabulum and the suture passer is used to pull the suture through the drilled hole in the femoral neck. The system can be purchased as a kit or by the component.
