The pessary is used to retain a female genital organ that has descended when the pelvic floor is deficient.
It is used in particular in cases of prolapse (descent of organs) prior to surgery.
Perforation of the catheter allows natural secretions to drain out.
It should be put in place in the morning and removed in the evening. Can be worn daily.
