Pressure therapy, in a few words :
Pneumatic lymph drainage must be used in addition to, not instead of, other techniques. It offers practitioners an additional method of treating their patients, and an essential tool for treating oedemata. Pneumatic lymph drainage leads to decongestion, and should therefore be used before manual lymphatic drainage, whereas in other cases it may be used simultaneously, or after manual lymphatic drainage to enhance and prolong its effects.
