What is the TXB Series?
The Shimadzu TXB Series is a high precision non-approved analytical scale, with a weighing accuracy to the nearest 0.1g/0.01g. This professional balance scale has a selection of simple features to make weighing and counting processes easier.
How accurate is a balance?
A balance scale is a weighing scale with a low capacity and very high accuracy, often weighing in the sub-milligram range. Balances are commonly used in laboratories, and by paint manufacturers for weighing out minute amounts of pigment.
The TXB Series can weigh items as accurately as to the nearest 0.1g or 0.01g, depending on the capacity option you choose.
How can I record weight readings from this balance?
All Shimadzu balances in the Marsden range come with WindowsDirect software. This enables the user to seamlessly transfer data from the scale to a PC. Simply connect the PC and the scale, then at the press of a button the data will be automatically transferred to any document or spreadsheet which is open. No additional software is required, just an I/O to RS-232 cable.
