The Elmasteam 8 med is an MDD-compliant steam cleaner for cleaning instruments that are used in various fields of medicine, in podiatry and tattooing.

The standard preparation process in washer-disinfectors for instrument components like milling cutters, drills and HF instruments, for example, frequently does not clean these components adequately.* The Elmasteam 8 med is used for manual pre-cleaning or re-treatment of medical instruments. It is possible to remove even persistent contaminants, like burned-in tissue on electro-surgical forceps, for example without damaging the material. This makes it possible to use these valuable instruments for much longer.

The handpiece of the Elmasteam 8 med is attached to a flexible 1.4 metre-long hose. Using the standard Luer lock connection, you can connect hollow medical instruments directly to the handpiece. This allows you to pre-clean or re-treat them on the inside.

The stainless steel surface of the Elmasteam is easily and hygienically cleaned. You fill the Elmasteam 8 med easily using either a filling recess, the plumbed-in water connection or a canister that is available as an option.
