Snap-off Weil screws are snap-off screws positioned on a mandrel designed for cervico-capital osteosynthesis of medial metatarsals (Weil osteotomy) after length correction and correction of forefoot deviations.
DESCRIPTION
Weil screws are self-drilling and self-tapping.
Simple and adapted instrumentation common to Weil screws and Scarf screws, particularly include Scarf measuring forceps.
The implantation of the Weil screw is first made in the nerve using the snap-off mandrel and finalisation of screwing is performed using a screwdriver.
