Each PROTEC detector is a complete DR package, consisting of a portable detector in cassette format together with the CONAXX 2 acquisition software. Benefit from excellent image quality within seconds, no matter if you use it as WiFi or tethered solution. The detector sizes 43×36 cm and 43 x 43 cm are available from different manufacturers. A low weight as well as the cassette format size allow easy handling. This size also allows you to easily upgrade your existing system with a PROTEC detector – enter the digital world of X-ray!

Automatic exposure control
All PROTEC RAPIXX detectors use Automatic Exposure Control (AEC). Without connection to the generator you can X-ray quickly and easily. Even with lowest dose values the radiation is automatically detected. You benefit from a highly efficient system that allows you to X-ray without triggering.

Detector Szintillator
The scintillator used in the detector is essential for producing a high-quality X-ray image. Both materials commonly used in the market, Gadolinium Oxysulfide (short Gadox) and Cesium Iodide (short CsI) are used in the RAPIXX portfolio. CsI detectors offer excellent image quality at up to 10% lower radiation dose. Gadox detectors require a higher radiation dose due to their design, but offer you a good, cheaper alternative – We will be happy to advise you!
