Kirwan Surgical Products’ Microdissection needles are effective at focusing monopolar energy on the target tissue, thereby achieving a precise cut with minimal burning or charring and minimal damage to the peripheral tissue.
The tungsten needle will withstand the rigors of monopolar electrosurgery while maintaining an extremely sharp point. The needle is insulated with a high temperature dielectric coating confining the energy to the tip.
The tungsten needle is set into a stainless steel holder which will fit into a standard cutting/coagulation handpiece. The needles are offered in various lengths. Styles of these needles include straight, curved and angled 45 degrees.
