Matris was born from the growing sensitivity for the well-being of the mother and newborn, today increasingly widespread with the practice of rooming-in.
We know how important physical closeness is to reassure the newborn and foster the emotional bond: in the first days of life, the baby needs to recognize the mother, listen to her
and be fed by her.

For safety, Matris is also equipped with vertically collapsible transparent Plexiglass side rails, and a centralized automatic safety braking system with constant brake.
The self-braking wheels are released simultaneously by acting on the integrated push handle.
It can be tilted into Trendelenburg and Reverse Trendelenburg positions, and the mattress and padded side panels are fully removable for sanitization.

Matris is designed to support any bed in complete safety: the wide range in the structural height and design, make it possible to match the bed and the crib, thanks also to the padded flaps which create continuity between the two mattresses.
Matris is ideal for transferring the newborn between rooms and wards, and can be placed side by side to the right or left of the bed, protecting the newborn in its space while the mother can move around peacefully.
