The Xcela Hybrid PICC is the first and only triple lumen PICC with two valved lumens incorporating the proprietary PASV Valve Technology and a dedicated non-valved lumen for immaculate CVP monitoring. With this innovative design, you can now have one catheter giving you the benefits of two.
Specifications:
Three lumens, two valves: The two valved lumens which incorporates the PASV Valve Technology is designed to prevent the blood reflux that could lead to catheter-related complications. The one dedicated non-valved lumen is designed for precise CVP monitoring.
The short reverse taper is designed to minimize blood loss at the insertion site. The large, inner lumen diameter is designed to maximize flow rates and minimize the risk of occlusions. The Xcela Hybrid PICC comes with an advanced polyurethane material which provides alcohol resistance for insertion site, care, and maintenance. The catheter shaft construction is designed to provide predictable power injection combined with power injectable lumen that can achieve a maximum flow rate of 6 mL per sec.
