Purpose
As a medical device: for objective control of pace and depth of compressions during cardiopulmonary resuscitation (assistant).
As a device for education and training: for control of pace and depth of compressions in the course of teaching skills of CPR; for objective assessment of the quality of skills obtained by the attendees of the manual CPR course.

Description
Through color and sound indicators CPR Indicator sets pace for patient''s chest compression. For resuscitation, the external detector of the TEMP CPR probe should be placed on the patient''s chest, after which compressions should be performed according to the pacer. Processing and indication unit, receiving data from the chest probe, calculates actual depth of chest compressions and, using color and audible indication, provides signals on the compression depth adequacy (normal, insufficient or excessive). Normal compression depth for adults: 5 to 6 cm.
Standard cycle mode of operation: 30 compressions/2 inspirations. After 30 compressions device informs the user about the moment, where compressions should be interrupted to make an inspiration.
