Auscultation Training Manikin

The SAM Basic® auscultation training manikin has been developed to teach and train adult auscultation as an essential clinical skill needed to assess heart, lung, bowel and bruit conditions. In combination with SimScope®, an electronic simulation-training stethoscope, students can train the recognition of auscultation sounds associated with various disorders. With one of the largest auscultation sound libraries available and easy-to-use software, SAM Basic® gives students and educators everything they need to actively engage in auscultation education and hands-on training.

The included SimScope® stethoscope allows to auscultate the SAM® torso and enables wireless communication with the controller tablet (optional purchase). By accessing the auscultation software, educators can pick any sound from the large Cardionics auscultation library and change the parameters on-the-fly.
