Essential device for a safe and stable immobilisation of the cervical rachide. One-shell cervical collar ready to use, intuitive and easy to apply thanks to its adjustable Velcro closure.
The structure is made of high density injection printed polyetilene and it perfectly supports the head weight, wrapping with its anatomical shape the occipital and mandibular area, thus reducing the flexo-extension, minimizing the pressure on the carotid and granting compatibility with X-ray, CT and MRI also in extreme temperatures. it is equipped with an ample front opening to access more easily to the control of the carotid pulse and to create a comfortable access for a possible tracheotomy. To rationalize space and the number of sizes, this device it designed with an innovative ''multisize'' system: an only collar covers 4 different sizes (Low, Short, Regular, Tall) in the adult version and other 4 sizes in the pediatric version, simply adjusting the collar height. The adjusting method is rapid and intuitive thanks to an oval coloured indicator with relevant block buttons.
