Product Description
The Vertefix-Plus™ range integrates all the design features of the Vertefix Pedicle Screw System. The Vertefix-Plus™ features a bone thread, a double thread (two-start) at the upper tulip-end for improved purchase in cortical bone. The two-start feature ensures a constant pitch as the screw is threaded into the bone, thereby eliminating potential thread damage to the bone, a lower grub-screw assembly profile is achievable. To continue, the tool is highly compatible with the Vertefix™ Pedicle Screw System. Clinical results prove that the design of the Vertefix-Plus screw incorporates an additional thread at the upper end and the Vertefix clinical results are deemed relevant.
Furthermore, the pullout strength of the thread on Vertefix-Plus screws is independently verified by the CSIR’s Department of Manufacturing & Materials Technology.
