Billerud SteriKraft medical Kraft paper is made from 100% Scandinavian virgin fiber. Our process control is industry-leading from the selection of raw material to production. This includes inline detection of contamination and bioburden analysis to warrant a clean, pure medical paper.

Sterile – proven microbial barrier

The formation of PM7 minimizes the risk of thin areas in the paper material. The mill has an internal bioburden lab. A continuous control of bioburden leads to a well-controlled bioburden level in the packaging material. This secures the efficacy of the sterilization process and is critical for the sterility of the medical devices. SteriKraft is well known for its high purity and is produced with modern Web Inspection System (WIS) control to identify holes and spots.
