For patients treated with radiopharmaceuticals before their exit from the sanitary structure or during the confinement period, the use of controlled toilets (hot toilets) is recommended. The radioactive waste produced is held for a certain amount of time inside a collecting tank and not directly introduced into the public drainage system.

In fact, the system described only discharges these waste products when their radioactivity value is below that allowed by the current standards.
This is achieved by the use of a system of storage tanks where the radioactivity decays until it reaches the set values.

The Computerised Synoptic System permits remote management of one or more disposal plants. An automatic sampling group permits analysis through software of the radioactive decay in each tank.
