IGIENITEC consists of a flexible wafer that has an opening in the center. One side of the wafer adheres to the skin around the anus, and the other side is connected to a collection pouch. The bag has a closable attachment at the lower end through which a catheter can be inserted to perform enteroclysms, with maximum hygienic precaution and environmental isolation.
Access is closed by a ventilated capsule that allows flatulence to escape by filtering out foul odor and preventing distension of the pouch by gas entrapment.
Together with the adhesive surface that taps into the anal rhyme is made of totally latex-free material, it unlike existing devices IS ABSOLUTELY NOT INVASIVE and does not require the insertion of a balloon catheter.
