Straight Arthroscope

Medacta MectaScope System is used to examine human joints such as knee, shoulder or hip from the inside during arthroscopic diagnostic procedures, providing surgeons with magnified HD images

MectaScope arthroscopes provide magnified images through a circular field of view.
Two different configurations are available:

Color code: Red
Equipped with a self-centering coupling system preventing leakage of fluids

Color code: Yellow
Equipped with a self-centering coupling system preventing leakage of fluids

The MectaScope is supplied with adapters in order to fit most common light guides:

DEDICATED INSTRUMENTS

ROTATING SHEATH
The sheath is used to maintain the portal into the joint ensuring visual clarity and providing continuous flow into the surgical site. The MectaScope - Rotating Sheath can be disassembled to facilitate the washing/cleaning process.

Sheath - Barrel Ø6mm
Cannulated Ø4mm
The fenestrated tip provides fluid passage into the joint
Equipped with a self-centering coupling system preventing leakage of fluids

Sheath - Spigot plane
Equipped with valves, to support surgeons in managing the fluid inflow and outflow
Injection or suction of liquids via Luer Lock connection
The spigot plane is free to rotate relative to the sheath to avoid tubing twisting during the procedure
