Blood Collection Tube

Circulating tumor cells and other rare cell types in blood are fragile and tend to degrade within a few hours when collected in standard blood collection tubes.

CELLSAVE PRESERVATIVE TUBES

CellSave Preservative Tubes are registered IVD products.

The tube contains 300µl of Na2EDTA and a proprietary cell preservative. This preserves morphology and cell surface antigen expression of epithelial cells and leukocytes.

Each tube is evacuated to withdraw 10.0ml of venous whole blood are optimized for use with the Circulating Tumor Cell (CTC) Test, Circulating Endothelial, Epithelial, Melanoma and Profile test kits.

CellSave tubes provide an optimized cell preservative that:

Stabilizes circulating tumor cells (CTCs) for up to 96 hours at ambient temperature (15-30°C), allowing shipment of samples from remote locations for analysis
Improves the reproducibility and reliability of CTC analysis

CellRescue Preservative Tubes are for research use only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures.

The tube contains 660µl of Na2EDTA and a proprietary cell preservative. This preserves the morphology and cell surface antigen expression. Each tube is evacuated to withdraw 10.0ml of venous whole blood are optimized for use with the Circulating Multiple Myeloma Cell (CMMC) Test.
