The GastroPanel® Quick Test is a quantitative rapid test for the simultaneous screening of four gastric-specific markers: Helicobacter pylori antibody, pepsinogen I, pepsinogen II and gastrin-17. The test screens for Helicobacter pylori, atrophic gastritis and gastric acid overproduction in symptomatic and asymptomatic patients. This innovative, non-invasive test for near-patient diagnosis is used for non-specific gastric complaints. Results including interpretation are provided from a sample of EDTA plasma after only 20 minutes. From these, the further procedure can be derived - for example, whether a gastroscopy is necessary for the patient or not.
