When applied to bracket surfaces, ORTHOPROTECT generates a physical barrier, preventing direct contact of brackets with adjacent soft tissues, preventing the initiation and/or progression of damage to these tissues.
Because it is a translucent product, it does not interfere with the aesthetics of the orthodontic appliance. The low viscosity of the product facilitates its application and increases its filling power. Due to its mechanical characteristics, the product can be easily removed from the surface of the brackets when necessary.
DESCRIPTION
ORTHOPROTECT is used for partial coating of components of fixed appliances (brackets and wires), used in orthodontic treatments, which have sharp corners or cutting edges that could injure the oral soft tissues.
