The 2019-nCoV Antigen Rapid Test is a lateral flow immunoassay based on latex immunochromatography technology and utilizes the double antibody sandwich method for the qualitative detection of Coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 antigen in human nasopharyngeal and oropharyngeal swab specimens. Reliably tests all known variants including delta, omicron, lambda, etc.
This test principle of the 2019-nCoV antigen rapid tests is characterized by a high specificity (99.7%) and sensitivity (93.8%). The application is carried out by appropriately trained personnel.
