Intended use:

Tianlong Human B-raf Gene V600E Mutation Detection Kit kit detects the genomic DNA extracted from paraffin-embedded tissue sections of human non-small cell lung cancer and colorectal cancer, and is used for the qualitative detection of B-raf gene V600E point mutation in tumor tissues.

B-raf gene, located on chromosome 7q34, is an oncogene belonging to raf gene family, that contains 18 exons, encoding a B-raf protein containing 783 amino acids. It is an important transduction factor in the EGFR pathway of RAS/RAF/MEK/MRK/MAPK, and is involved in various physiological processes such as cell growth, differentiation and cell death.
