Cold Room Panel

The camlocked PIRLOCK® panel technology for cold rooms is made from the PIR flame retardant material.

The Porkka PIRLOCK® panel for cold rooms is the first PIR panel with a camlock for cold rooms, offering the best possible fire proof classification for room panels used in cold rooms.

The fire proof PIRLOC technology increases high-end safety in places with plenty of people, including schools, hospitals and recreational spaces, or food industry facilities and cold storages. PIRLOCK is available for all Porkka cold rooms and doors.

The product brings together the handy and reliable camlock mechanism, accurate dimensioning and design, and the best possible fire proof classification (B-s1, d0 and B-s2, d0). In the event of a fire, a cold room equipped with PIR panels actively resists the fire and significantly slows down its spread, allowing more time for the personnel to get to safety, for example.

In addition to fire proofing, Porkka PIRLOCK reduces build time from days to hours compared to non-camlocked panels.
